Alex Döda is the Chairman and Founder of The Abruptive Institute.

Alex was born in 1996 in Eastern Europe to parents who had undergone fertility treatment for 5 years to have him. From the moment he was born, his parents dedicated themselves to providing him with everything he needed, despite their challenging financial situation.

Growing up, Alex was always curious about things that seemed odd to those around him. For example, “how can birds change direction in perfect synchronization?” or “can we live a second life inside our dreams if we learn to control and resume them?”.

For most of his early life, things were pretty average. “Go to school, get bored, come back home, rinse and repeat.” But as a person with his head in the clouds always, he never managed to fit in.

As the stereotypical nerd or geek, he had near-perfect school grades and spent most of his time on the internet. He played video games and learned to create digital media in his spare time.

With a passion for art and engineering, Alex’s dive into design and programming led him to focus more on using code and tools to create things than on school and social life.

At 16, he applied to join Codeable - the world’s #1 WordPress freelancer platform - and was accepted as one of the 100 experts on the team.

This was a turning point in Alex’s life. It opened up opportunities to work with talented people worldwide and earn six figures online while still in high school.

At 17, Alex was flown out to New York City for a charity party hosted by celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo. At this party, Alex realized his passion was helping businesses have a more significant social impact.

After finishing high school, Alex moved to London to study game design & development, digital media design, and web technology. However, after just a year, he dropped out. Instead, he started his first product, Ascripta - a framework that helped businesses save time and money by not having to start from scratch when building new websites or applications.

Although the product never took off outside his own network of clients, it was through this experience that Alex learned the importance of building products that solve problems and provide value. These two key factors would later contribute to the success of his upcoming ventures.

Throughout the years, Alex constantly visited the United States to meet passionate entrepreneurs and creators at conferences and events around New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and other cities. In 2018, Alex spent an entire summer in California to get out of his comfort zone and find the inspiration behind his latest venture, Abruptive.

With a solid team in Europe, Abruptive started as a growth marketing agency that helped startups and businesses scale their online presence.

Through data-driven marketing tactics, scalable marketing funnels, and automated platforms, Abruptive successfully helped hundreds of entrepreneurs put their companies on the map.

After a few years of operating as an agency, Alex realized that the service business should be just a branch of a bigger vision. So the agency was re-branded as Abruptive Studio, and it continues its operations even today.

Alex’s direct involvement as a co-founder in various online ventures with entrepreneurs led him to reimagine Abruptive as an institute of tech companies, innovators, and visionaries.

They united their powers and resources to deliver better products to millions of people around the world.
